CMEDHEALTH was founded with the intention of being a Family practice focusing on building a relationship with patients and a foundation for health and well-being.
Nestled in the heart of the Southern Suburbs, where patients are able to access quality healthcare and allied health.

Founder, Dr Layla Cassim, is passionate about offering personal, one-on-one care to every patient.
Dr Cassim completed her MBCHB degree at the University of Stellenbosch. She completed her internship at Groote Schuur Hospital, where she did her paediatric rotation at Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.
She served her community service year and following two years at the South African National Defence Force and has since worked as a private GP.
"I am passionate about preventative measures to preserve and improve one's quality of life. I aim to develop an ongoing relationship with my patients, managing and giving you tools to promote health and well-being, whilst keeping up to date with the latest evidence."
